"A lawyer who approaches disputes not as battles to be won, but as business problems to be solved strategically."
Oliver brings a practical and solution-oriented approach to helping clients navigate business challenges.
Oliver’s practice spans business disputes involving contractual breaches and director liability, investigations involving sensitive allegations, and regulatory defence matters involving serious issues. He approaches each matter with the understanding that the best legal outcome is one that serves broader business objectives.
His analytical skills extend beyond traditional litigation. During law school, Oliver researched and profiled financially distressed companies which has helped him analyze complex, evolving business situations involving high stakes and competing interests.
Oliver articled at Voorheis & Co. LLP, a boutique firm specializing in business-critical situations and complex corporate governance problems, where he gained hands-on experience with the kind of high-stakes matters that define his dispute resolution practice.
Oliver was admitted to the Ontario bar in 2023 after graduating from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
